Industrial Automation & Control Ltd., the UK's leading independent systems integrator of PLC systems, variable speed drives & Scada systems is looking to expand its team with the addition of an Electrical Engineering Apprentice.

IAC is searching for an enthusiastic and hardworking electrical engineering apprentice to join their team.  Applicants should hold or expect to hold 5 GCSE's at grade C or above, which should include Maths. English and Science.

IAC's apprentice training comprises four years of hard work, hopefully culminating in a Higher National Certificate and Level 3 NVQ.  The apprentice would undertake set periods in most departments of IAC including production, service, engineering, drawing office and test, to achieve an understanding of the overall operation of the Company.

The position requires the apprentice to carry out normal duties of the department he/she is currently operating in whilst also attending a higher education establishment on a day release along with attending vocational training courses at a training provider of IAC's choice.  The position requires qualifications equivalent to at least five GCSE's including Maths, English and a Science, as well as the ability to communicate coherently with others and the drive and ambition to become an electrical engineer.

IAC operates in all major industries, offering turn key solutions to heavy industry.  The Company is well established and operates world wide.  Successful applicants may be expected to travel in the UK and overseas on occasion and must be eligible to work in the UK.  Please note we do not offer sponsorship for overseas applicants not eligible to work in the UK.
